There were reportedly two robberies in the area this morning.
The robbers fled the scene after the incident.
Many police officers in the country had come under attack while some have lost their lives while on duty.
Earlier today, a bomb targeting a police van killed two police officers and injured eight in the Budh Bher area of Peshawar.
On September 7, four men on two motorcycles had fired on a picket set up by the police after a robbery. Two of them were killed when the police returned their fire.

Policemen are ridiculed the most in our country, while they have countless faults but still there are enough servicemen within them who inspite of all the difficulties, lack of resources and above all respect do put their life on line and do something. It is the other more glamorous depts (courts, prosecution, govt and even army) who does nothing.
