A 17-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped in Mukeem Shah village, said a Saddar police official on Saturday.
The victim’s father, Muhammad Khan, lodged an FIR accusing Zahor Khan, a resident of Yarak village, along with two unidentified accomplices, of the crime.
Muhammad said his daughter, Nazira Bibi*, earlier went missing from his house and he was unable to find her after searching the area. He added his daughter returned months later, claiming Zahor Khan and his two friends kidnapped her and took her to Lahore where she was repeatedly raped. The three suspects are still at large. Investigation officer Bashir Khan said Nazira Bibi went missing in May and returned home on October 4.
Bashir maintained initial investigation indicates Nazira had relations with Zahor prior to the kidnapping. More will be known once the inquiry report is completed, he added.
