KARACHI: Two more notorious gangsters linked with the Lyari gang war were apprehended from Lahore on Friday in a joint operation carried out by the Karachi and Lahore police. The alleged Lyari gangsters were identified as Sattar Khazri Baloch and Azizullah. According to reports, the arrested suspects were involved in numerous cases including target killings and extortion. They had escaped to Lahore following the ongoing targeted raids in Karachi against criminal elements. Their arrests were made in two separate raids after police traced their location through their cell phones. The suspects will likely to be shifted to Karachi on Saturday (today), or in a couple of days. On the other hand, when contacted for comments, the district South police chief DIG Abdul Khalique Shaikh was unaware of the arrests being made.
