Militants strike: Two rooms of BHU gutted in blast

No loss of lives has been reported.

BANNU: Two rooms of a basic health unit (BHU) in the limits of Miryan police station were destroyed on Friday when a bomb planted by unidentified militants went off. A police official said militants planted a bomb in the building of the BHU in the area which exploded at about 1:30am and smashed two rooms of the health unit. No loss of lives has been reported. The official further explained the blast was heard all over the area and panicked residents. An FIR was filed in the police station.
