Crime: Seven women ‘abducted’ in two days

FAISALABAD: Seven women were reported to have been abducted from different areas in Faisalabad on Wednesday and Thursday, police said. Police spokesman Aamir Waheed said a woman and her nine-year-old daughter were kidnapped from Naseerabad on Thursday.  In another incident, six men abducted a woman from Yousufabad on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, eight men kidnapped a woman from Chak Jhumra. In yet another incident, three men abducted a woman from Chak363-GB. A woman was kidnapped by eight men in Chak 566 on Thursday. Ten men abducted a woman from Hussain Nagar. Police said no one had been arrested so far.
