According to the Zinda Bhaag team, the film is scheduled to release with subtitles in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, Virginia, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, Dallas, Huston and Atlanta on October 18, courtesy of FunAsia Entertainment.
“Since it’s the first film to get such wide distribution in US, it’s a great achievement for Pakistan,” said producer Mazhar Zaidi.
The film, which stars Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah along with new local actors, has got rave reviews from critics in Pakistan. Here is an excerpt from The Express Tribune’s review:
Zinda Bhaag is a must watch. In its modest, yet ingenious approach towards storytelling, Zinda Bhaag easily becomes the best film to have come out of modern day Pakistani cinema.

Good films need to be supported. Based on reviews, this film should be released in the UK, Australia as well. . Looking forward to it.
Please explain how Fun Asia Entertainment in America will release the film will it be at Desi cinemas or at AMC other mainline theaters so we in San Francisco can plan huge groups to start making plans to view this exciting film!
This news made my day. I love it and I shall surely watch this movie. Now, please make arrangements to release other good Pakistani movies also. US, Canada & UK are great markets that needs to be tapped.
Will be waiting to see it in US.
Someone forgot to run spell check ... It's "Houston", not "Huston".
