Army ease past ZTBL in PPFL
Team registers 3-0 win to secure third place.

Army registered their third win in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) as they defeated ZTBL 3-0 at the Model Town Football Ground in Lahore yesterday.
Army took the lead with captain Muhammad Imran’s goal in the 15th minute of the match, while striker Sadaf Iqbal doubled the score in
the 45th.
They scored their third goal in the second minute of injury time of the first-half through Muhammad Zahid to seal the win.
So far Army have won three and drawn four out of seven matches played this season. With the result, they replaced PAF in third position with 13 points. On the other hand, it was ZTBL’s third defeat after playing seven matches.
In Karachi, HBL won their third match in the league, overcoming KPT by 2-1.
Muhammad Atif scored twice for HBL in the 41st and 71st minute, while KPT’s Muhammad Khan struck the net in the 51st minute of the match.
HBL are now in fifth place with 11 points.
In the third match of the day, Muslim FC and Afghan FC drew 1-1 at the KPT stadium.
Afghan FC’s Samad Khan scored the opening goal in the 38th minute while Muslim FC’s Abdul Qadeer equalised in the 88th.
