Shot dead: Assailants kill stage artist in Multan

Mother claims that Aarzoo Khan, 30, was killed by her husband.

MULTAN: A stage actress was shot dead late Friday night in Multan by unidentified assailants.

However, mother of the victim has claimed that Aarzoo Khan, 30, was killed by her husband for refusing relations with his friends. Details reveal that Khan was coming back from a cinema around 3 am when two armed riders intercepted her car and shot her point blank, killing her on the spot. Her mother, Rukhsana, told The Express Tribune that the victim’s husband used to torture her to force her to keep company with his friends.

Police have lodged an FIR and initiated investigations. Shah Shamas Police Station House Officer Umar Draz told that her husband Ehsan and driver Tanveer have been arrested.
