Mob ‘justice’: Robber beaten up by citizens, arrested
Neighbours caught one of the robbers and beat him up while the other three fled the scene.
Police said four men broke into Rana Zulfiqar’s house, a resident of Kumharanwala on Saturday. The family shouted for help, police said, and the neighbours caught one of the robbers and beat him up. The other three fled the scene.
The neighbours also staged a demonstration to protest against police who they said had been slow to respond to a call for help.
