If you thought the invasion of the Turks was limited to television in Pakistan, you have another guess coming.

After Behlul in Ishq-e-Mamnoon gave girls something to drool about, and Laalay in Junoon Tere Pyaar Ka gave us a girl to call bechaari, it’s time for Turkish actors to appear on the big screen.

Muhabbat Ek Ittefaq will be the first Turkish film to release in Pakistan in Urdu.

The story is the classic love triangle with Deniz, Buraq and Ozgur being the main players. Deniz (an aspiring actor) and Buraq fall in love, but the latter’s parents don’t approve of her profession and consequently, their marriage.

Deniz is an ambitious woman and is not ready to give up her career at any cost. In the process, she meets Ozgur, (a photographer) who ultimately falls in love with her.

Released two years ago and originally titled Ask Tesadüfleri Sever, the movie was one of the highest grossing Turkish movies that year.

It is scheduled to release in theatres across the country on Eidul Azha, according to showbizpak.com.

@bilal: Looking at the box office collections in Pakistan, any third class Indian film beats the 4th class Pakistani movies hands down and works out very well for 5th grade Pakistani audience.
