Ephedrine case: Six accused sent on judicial remand

An anti-narcotics court has sent six accused in the Ephedrine smuggling case on a 14-day judicial remand.

RAWALPINDI: An anti-narcotics court has sent six accused in the Ephedrine smuggling case on a 14-day judicial remand.  Magistrate Muhammad Aslam Sanjhota after rejecting the Anti-Narcotics Force investigators plea of more remand of the accused sent them to Adaila Jail. The accused in the Ephedrine allocation quota scam included Basit Abbasi, the brother of PML-N leader and Grace Pharma owner Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Ahmed Bilal, Chaudhry Asif, Abuzar Khair, Siraj-ud-Din and Hamid Raza.
