GUJRANWALA: The headmistress of a government school was suspended from service here on Wednesday for making some of her students work at her house as maids. The EDO said that someone had informed MPA Taufeeq Butt that Mussarat Bibi, principal of Government Girls Primary School Rajkot, had kept some of the school girls at her house and made them do house chores during school time. The MPA and an Education Department team raided the principal’s house and recovered the girls. The EDO said the girls were found cleaning the house at the time it was raided. They said the headmistress apologised, but was suspended from service.
