The ads manager cites that the number of Pakistani users on Facebook is between 10.6-11.8 million of which 7.4-8.2 million are men and 3.0-3.4 million are women.
Of these users, 2.3-2.5 million are single and out of this 1.7-1.8 million are men and 0.7-0.78 million are women. There are 1.0-1.2 million who are either married, engaged or in a relationship.
Half of the users are between the ages of 18-24. This indicates that the social networking site is mostly used by youth.
Additionally, 2.9-3.2 million local Facebook users are university graduates, of which 2.1-2.3 million are men and 0.78-0.86 million are women.

Wow! Pakistan zindabad! Finally, we have something to boast about. Forget feudalism. Forget terrorism. Forget corruption and nepotism, hunger and thirst. This is a very important news item.
@optimist: Your country is still backward in IT, Space science, infrastructure etc when compared to India. For your kind information, the first facebook office outside USA is at Hyderabad, India.
It's time for us to shift to a social network like Zurker which gives full freedom of speech and privacy.
Facebook is good to socialize with the rest of the world, but the filth in it cannot be tolerated.
In addition to men posing as women and boys as girls, there are lot of Facebook users in Pakistan who are also gays and homosexuals.
One more core problem of computer, internet and more particularly of Facebook is that its users gets isolated with rest of the family members for a very long time which is also creating problems in the families.
To be very precise in saying, I would term that Facebook has created more gaps between the own family members who are present in the house in reality, rather than making fake friendship on Facebook, who may become short time friends and then leave the other Facebook friends abruptlly.
The Social Scientists must determine one fact whether Facebook is hearting its users or making people happier in the real sense?
