Timely action: Police recover abducted student
“Timely information enabled us to recover the student and foil the kidnapping attempt,” says police.

A student kidnapped on Tuesday morning was recovered by the district police later in the day. Addressing a press conference, DSP Pabbi Circle Izhar Ahmad along with SHO Muhammad Ijaz Khan said Musadaq Ali Shah, a ninth grade student at Ghazi Model School and College, was kidnapped by armed men while going to school early morning. He was forced into a vehicle at gunpoint and whisked away. The incident was reported to the police by the school’s owner Abbas Khan, following which DSP Ahmad directed the police to establish checkpoints in the surrounding areas. “Shah was found from Mohib Bandha area,” said DSP Ahmad, adding: “Timely information enabled us to recover the student and foil the kidnapping attempt.” Shah said three armed men kept him in custody for several hours.
