ABAD elections: Allied panel sweeps polls

The Allied Panel has won the Association of Builders and Developers’ (ABAD) elections with a heavy mandate.


The elections for 2013-14 were held on Saturday at ABAD House. Representatives of two rival panels – Allied and Progressive – were contesting for the six seats of Central Executive Committee (CEC) and six seats of Regional Executive Committee (REC).


Allied Panel’s Mohsin Sheikhani, Saleem Qasim Patel, Muhammad Hanif Ghohar, Fayyaz Ilyas, Muhammad Haneef Memon, and Syed Afzal Hameed were elected as CEC members. On the other hand, Hasan Bakhshi, Zeeshan Siddiqui, Rameez Qasim Ghaziani, Muhammad Ayub and Imran Fazlani were elected as REC members.
