Scrabble: Baig wins qualifiers for WYSC selection

Moizullah Baig, who represented the country in the championship last year, won qualifiers with 6 wins out of 7 games.

The Pakistan Scrabble Association began the final round of the qualifiers to select players for the World Youth Scrabble Championship (WYSC) at Mama Parsi School yesterday.


The last round featured 26 young players, with 10 of them to continue the competition today in the hopes of getting selected for the WYSC that will take place in Dubai in December.


Moizullah Baig, who represented the country in the championship last year, won the qualifiers with six wins out of seven games. Meanwhile, Muhammad Inshal also won six games and finished the day on second position as Maria Arif finished third with five wins.
