The ICG arrested seven Pakistani fishermen and seized their fishing trawler Friday morning after it crossed the IMBL off Jakhau coast near Jamnagar.
The arrested fishermen were taken to the Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) in Okha in Jamnagar for further questioning.
Pakistan's maritime security agency had arrested 58 Indian fishermen on Thursday after they had allegedly strayed into the country's territorial waters.
In August, Pakistan had released 364 Indian prisoners, most of them fishermen languishing in several jails despite completing their sentences.
The 340 fishermen were released from District Jail Malir, Karachi, while 25 crew members were released from Gaddani Jail, Balochistan.

India and pakistan both must take this issue seriously because in ours ugly politics and diplomacy poor fisherman who live on day to day earnings are affected,i think floating balloons must be placed on border which must be connected with ground via cable so that no party can argue that it was shifted deliberately.
If you arrest fishermen on suspicion, please finish the inquiry within a week's time and release the poor people. Both sides.
Oh is that why they released nine fishermen yesterday.
