KARACHI: A seasoned sports journalist from Pakistan has been inducted in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Award Voting Academy (AVA). Saleem Khaliq, sports editor of the Daily Express will continue to be the member of the body for two years where he will select outstanding cricketers for the ICC awards along with other members. The AVA comprises 32 members including cricket greats besides 10 media representatives from Test playing nations and one of associate and affiliate. Saleem Khaliq is the only journalist from Pakistan in the body.
