Endangering lives: Siddiqui wants action against quacks

KARACHI: The city administration, police and health department have started an operation against quacks, announced commissioner Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui, while chairing a meeting on Thursday. He was reviewing the measures being adopted to make the joint operation successful. “No one can be allowed to endanger human lives and health,” he said. A significant number of hepatitis cases, oral infections particularly related to mouth have been caused due to faulty handling by untrained people, he added. It was decided that town health officers will be designated as focal persons for the campaign in their respective districts. Health EDO Dr Zafar Ejaz stated that, in the past three days, three quacks were arrested while FIRs were registered against seven others.

Never know why every thing has to be announced before doing in Pakistan! Go get the criminals, arrest, and then announce it! announcing before give many such criminals a chance to hide away for some time and then return back!
