KARACHI: Traffic police have initiated steps to purge the department of black sheep, said an announcement on Thursday. Traffic Additional Inspector General (AIG) Ghulam Qadir Thebo has issued directives for firing an inspector in the driving licence branch and transferring a constable to Jacobabad against corrupt practices. The statement said that Thebo directed a vigilance team to identify the black sheep in the department. It said that the AIG also asked the people to directly approach the department, in case of any complaints, so that the process of cleansing the traffic police of corrupt officials be made effective.
