PARACHINAR:


The house of a Kurram Agency political administration official in Sadda, Lower Kurram Agency was damaged when unidentified militants attacked it early Thursday morning.


Political administration official Muhammad Tariq stated militants surrounded his house in Gandri at around 2am while he and his family were sleeping.

The militants first shot at the residence and then fired multiple rockets, destroying the boundary wall and main gate of the house. Following this, the attackers escaped.

Later in the morning, Tariq said he discovered two of his vehicles parked outside the house were also damaged.

Khasadar force officials launched a search operation in the area and have arrested six tribesmen under the collective responsibility clause of the Frontier Crimes Regulation.
