LAHORE:

The morning session of third day of the Lahore International Children’s Film Festival did not suffer the type of delays that occurred on the second day.

Children from as many as 10 schools including Froebel’s International School, Lahore School of Learning, LACAS, Bloomfield Hall School, The Educators, Amin Maktab and several branches of the City School and the Beaconhouse Schools System poured in till noon. The first show had a large audience- around 700 children in both halls- while nearly 600 children attended the second show. The festival organisers made sure that the shows began according to schedule. While crowds of children flocked to the morning show, the evening screenings had scant attendance. “More children come to the morning sessions,” Ali Hameed, a festival manager, said, “The turnout in the evenings isn’t as encouraging.”
