Charity work: Owais Muzaffar donates kidney
Sindh minister for health Owais Muzaffar and health secretary Inamullah Dhareejo will donate their kidneys to SIUT.
KARACHI:
Sindh minister for health and local government Owais Muzaffar and health secretary Inamullah Dhareejo have announced that they will donate their kidneys to the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT). After a meeting held with SIUT founder Dr Adeeb Rizvi, the health minister announced: “SIUT led by Dr Adeeb Rizi will get my kidneys after my death.” The health secretary followed his boss’ steps and made a similar announcement in the same spirit. “I will also donate my kidneys,” he said. Later, Muzaffar said that he had sought Dr Rizi’s help to improve the functions of the health department.
