Substandard food: Citizens write to DCO

The letter had been forward to the DCO.

DHONKAL: Scores of citizens in Wazirabad wrote a letter to the district coordination officer on Tuesday complaining about the use of substandard ghee and meat by local bakeries and hotels, a district government spokesman said. He said the citizens said that suppliers prepared ghee from fat of dead animals. They also added dried skin and bones into it and supplied substandard meat to hotels. They citizens wrote that they had informed the tehsil municipal administrator several times, but no action was taken on their complaint. He said the letter had been forward to the DCO.
