Crackdown on criminals: 138 suspects held during raids

According to a spokesperson for Rangers, 19 notorious criminals were arrested during raids in different areas.

KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies claim to have apprehended 138 suspects during targeted raids in parts of the city on Tuesday. According to a spokesperson for Rangers, 19 notorious criminals were arrested during targeted raids in different areas, including Chenasar Goth, Shah Faisal Colony, Green Town, Rasheedabad, Dawood Goth, Taiser Town, North Karachi, Quaid-e-Azam Colony and North Nazimabad. The spokesperson further said that snap checking was also carried out in Clifton and near Baloch Colony flyover and Water Pump Chowrangi. Separately, Karachi police claim to have conducted 95 raids in the city. According to a spokesperson for Sindh police, 119 criminals, including 15 absconders, 29 under Arms Ordinance, 30 under Narcotics Ordinance, 12 robbers, three murderers, five kidnappers and one extortionist, were arrested.
