Did you know? Jemimah Khan more than ‘just friends’ with Russell Brand?

British comedian Russell Brand seems to have found his lady love — its cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan’s ex-wife Jemimah Khan! The two were seen taking a stroll in East Village, New York, with their arms around each other over the weekend. It is the first time they have been photographed publicly together, though it appears the acquaintance is more than just casual.

Last week, Brand hinted he was smitten by a new woman in an article for The Guardian. He admitted he was dating someone but refused to give any names, according to dailymail.co.uk. He wrote, “Now, I’m not typically immune to the allure of objectified women, but I am presently beleaguered by a nerdish, whirling dervish, and am eschewing all others.”



The unlikely pair met about two years ago when Khan commissioned Brand to write an article for the New Statesman, of which she is Associate Editor, and remained friends.

While Brand has been linked with a string of women since his marriage ended with pop star Katy Perry in 2011 — which she claims was initiated by Brand via a text message — Khan, 39 enjoyed a high-profile relationship with actor Hugh Grant (2005 to 2007), according to The Telegraph.
