Hitchhiked: Army man looted on his way home

The police lodged a case and investigation is underway.

An army man was looted by two persons in the Sabzi Mandi area after dabbing a handkerchief containing intoxicating substance on his nose and mouth.


Mushtaq, a junior commissioned officer in the army, lodged a report with the police that two men offered him a ride in their vehicle from the Sabzi Mandi area, while he was going to his village Dheerkot.

He said that after going a little further, they suddenly put a drugged handkerchief on his mouth. They left him in a deserted place after taking Rs45,000, his national identity card and army service card along with his uniform.

The police lodged a case and investigation is underway.
