Snooker: UAF Snooker Academy officially opens

The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) held a successful opening ceremony for a snooker academy in Faisalabad at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) yesterday.


The PBSA has donated two tables of international standard to the academy. The Minister of Inter Provincial Co-ordination (IPC) Riaz Hussain Pirzada has also agreed to provide two more tables, while assuring that IBSF World Champion Mohammad Asif will receive his Rs10 million cash prize soon.


The UAF said they will take the approval from the board of UAF to replace the name of the hall with ‘Mohammad Asif Snooker Hall’.
