Crime: Couple looted, car stolen
A case was registered with the Basal police but the police are yet to find any clues as to his whereabouts.

A couple was deprived of gold ornaments and cash while commuting on a public transport vehicle on Friday. According to the details, Asad Khan, a resident of Bahtar, told the police that he, along with his wife, was going to Hassanabdal. On the way, a man and two women sitting near them stole gold ornaments and cash worth Rs3,600 from his wife’s purse. Meanwhile, Muhammad Ejaz, a resident of Alizai, told police that he parked his car near the National Bank but it was not there when he came out. He lodged a complaint with the police that it had been stolen. The police have registered separate cases and are investigating. Similarly, Sher Khan, a resident of Pindsultani, said that his son Saqib Shahzad, a student of class nine, went out for a hair cut on July 28 but did not return home. A case was registered with the Basal police but the police are yet to find any clues as to his whereabouts.
