We need to get rid of state-owned enterprises which are not doing well.
NEW YORK, US: This is in reference to the news story, “Out of moves: Nawaz Sharif approves privatisation of PIA” (September 12). A very good decision has been made by the government. We need to get rid of state-owned enterprises which are not doing well and causing a huge burden on the state exchequer. As far as transparency is concerned, that is a joke and non-transparency is the success story of our bureaucrats, civil servants, politicians and crooks, alike.
