Anti-dengue campaign: Cases registered against 6 places

Cases have been reigistered gainst Nirala Sweets, Lahore Broast and four car showrooms.

LAHORE: Anti-dengue squads of the Environment Protection Department on Thursday sealed Nirala Sweets on Jail Road and registered cases against Nirala Sweets and Lahore Broast on Multan Road, and four car showrooms in the City after dengue larvae were found at their premises. The squads were led by EPD Secretary Anwar Rasheed and MPA Khwaja Imran Nazir. Rasheed directed the town municipal administration to immediately remove the water accumulated at these sites. Talking to the media, he said the government was utilising all its resources to fight the dengue menace. He said the citizens should also come forward and help the government. He said the dengue crackdown had been strengthened on the order of the chief minister.
