Chilas incident: Police arrest suspected mastermind
Police raided a house in Diamer and arrested suspect Hamidullah.

Police on Thursday arrested a suspect believed to be involved in the killing of security officials investigating the massacre of 10 tourists and their Pakistani guide at the foot of the Nanga Parbat, Express News reported.
Following information extracted during interrogation of two Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) members, police raided a house in Diamer today and arrested Hamidullah.
Hamidullah was accused of the killing of Superintendent Police Hilal Ahmed, Colonel Ghulam Mustafa and Captain Ashfaq Aziz in Chilas district.
The suspect was shifted to an unidentified location and was interrogated for more information on the cold-blooded murder.
On June 23, gunmen dressed as paramilitary forces killed 10 foreign tourists in an unprecedented attack in Gilgit-Baltistan. The gunmen stormed into a base camp, killing Chinese and Ukrainian climbers.
The TTP accepted responsibility for the attack, terming it revenge against the US drone attacks and killing of TTP chief Waliur Rehman Mehsud.
