Abbas town blast: Victims receive due compensation
Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan distributed compensation cheques to the victims of Abbas Town on Tuesday.

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan distributed compensation cheques to the victims of Abbas Town on Tuesday. The event was held at Governor House and attended by Sindh Assembly’s deputy speaker Shehla Raza, opposition leader Faisal Subzwari, Karachi commissioner Shoaib Siddiqui, MPAs and representatives of the Shia community. The governor said that different committees had been formed to ascertain the victims’ losses and the government was committed to provide relief to all the affectees. “Members of civil society and philanthropists along with the government have contributed to the funds which are now being distributed among the blast victims,” he said.
