MULTAN:
District Coordination Officer (DCO) Syed Gulzaar Shah has ordered early removal of encroachments from the general bus stand. The DCO visited the general bus stand on Tuesday and ordered the Regional Transport Authority secretary to take immediate action for removal of the encroachments. Talking to reporters, Shah said that he realised that private bus stands and fruit and vegetable vendors had been creating difficulties for pedestrians. He also asked for a report on the legal status of the Bilal and Madina Bus Stands from their managers. He was informed that these were D-class stands. The DCO then sought a report about D-class stands from the RTA secretary. The DCO also ordered renovation of the general bus stand park. Earlier, encroachments were removed from Kumharanwala Chowk.
