Holy Journey: First Hajj flight from Balochistan departs

PIA will be carrying as many as 10,000 Hajj pilgrims from Balochistan for Saudi Arabia this year.

QUETTA: First Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight from Balochistan has left for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from Quetta carrying Hajj pilgrims, on Monday night at 10 pm. The plane carrying the first batch of pilgrims comprising 327 people took off from Quetta International Airport. A senior PIA official, General Manager PIA Balochistan Mr Mehdi Changezi, Jan Mohammad Kakar and other officials saw off the first flight of pilgrims. PIA will be carrying as many as 10,000 Hajj pilgrims from Balochistan for Saudi Arabia this year and the airline’s Hajj operations will continue till October 19.
