Helping Hand: Solar panels awarded to students
SALU VC Dr Parveen Shah awarded solar panel home solutions to two students on behalf of the Punjab chief minister.

Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur vice-chancellor Prof. Dr Parveen Shah awarded solar panel home solutions to two students on behalf of the Punjab chief minister, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, as part of the Punjab Educational Development Fund. Speaking to the recipients, Dr Parveen Shah extended her gratitude to Sharif for providing the facility to the students and advised the recipients to focus their energy for the pursuit of academic excellence and service of humanity. Dr Shah said that the students will be able to avail the light from the solar panel systems and thus be able to focus more on their academic pursuits despite the prolonged power outages. The recipients of the solar panels were Allah Dino, a student of the department of physics and Erum, a student of the department of computer sciences.
