At least eight persons were injured in a road accident in the limits of Civil Lines Police Station on Friday.


According to Rescue 1122 sources, a school van, driven by Afaq Ahmed, was hit by a speeding trailer hit at Gulistan Colony. Resultantly, eight persons including six students, the van driver and his assistant suffered multiple injuries. The trailer’s driver, Muhammad Imtiaz, fled the scene.

A Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and shifted them injured to Benazir Bhutto Hospital, where their conditions were stated to be stable.
