KARACHI:

Pakistan striker Kaleemullah predicts that his experience with the national team will help him perform better for his club KRL FC in the upcoming Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President’s Cup 2013 final stage.

The event, where KRL will continue their unbeaten streak against Kyrgyzstan’s Dordoi FC and Palestine’s Hilal Al-Quds FC in Group B, will begin from September 23 in Malaysia.

Kaleemullah said he would be preparing for the President’s Cup after returning from the South Asian Football Federation (Saff) Championship in Nepal.

“My experience with the national team will only improve my game and my form will also help KRL in the President’s Cup final stage,” Kaleemullah told The Express Tribune. “Playing competitive football regularly is the best practice for a player.”

The tournament showcases top clubs from third-tier countries in the AFC list.
