Spiritual calling: Dawoodi Bohras launch cleanliness drive

The cleanliness drive is in preparation of the expected visit of Syedi Mufaddal Bhaisaheb Saifuddin this month.

KARACHI: The Dawoodi Bohra community of the city is conducting a cleanliness drive for the expected visit of Syedi Mufaddal Bhaisaheb Saifuddin this month. The community, in collaboration with the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, is cleaning the city while hundreds of its members are heading to Islamabad to attend the address of their religious leader, said the community spokesperson. “Around 40 couples are also going to Islamabad where a mass wedding will be held,” said the spokesperson. Around half of the community members from Karachi will be going to Islamabad to attend the address of Syedi Mufaddal at the main mosque in Rawalpindi.Syedi Mufaddal is expected to reach Islamabad on Saturday.
