Dubai round table: Investment opportunities highlighted

The discussions also reviewed the preparations for the Second Pakistan-UAE Investment Conference.

DUBAI: On Tuesday former ambassador and United Arab Emirates (UAE) based Pakistani businessman Javed Malik, organised the Pakistan Investment Roundtable Meeting in Dubai which was attended by noted UAE and Gulf based companies with a view to encourage investment in Pakistan. Speaking on the occasion, Malik who is also the President of Diplomat Business Club of UAE, highlighted the investment opportunities in Pakistan particularly in energy, Agro-business and Mineral exploration sectors. He said that the PML-N government is representing a plethora of opportunities for businessmen and investors which is encouraging foreign investors in every aspect. The discussions also reviewed the preparations for the Second Pakistan-UAE Investment Conference so that a practical shape may be given to the major event planned later this year aimed at giving a substantial boost of Pakistan’s trade relations with the Middle East region.
