Violence continues: Targeted killings claim 11 lives in Karachi
Policeman, political worker, nine others killed.

Targeted killings continued on Tuesday even when the prime minister was in the city to discuss the issue of unabated violence.
Police sources report that a police inspector, a political worker and an alleged gangster were among 11 people shot dead across the city.
Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Shamshad Ahmed, who was posted to the intelligence wing in Orangi Town, was killed in the Orangi area in the Pakistan Bazaar police remits.
A Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker, Imran Khalil, was shot dead in Orangi. Both were targeted by armed motorbike riders.
In what appear to be sectarian killings, Zaheer Abbas, a NADRA employee, was shot dead outside his house in Jauhar Complex. Another man, Ejaz Hussain, was killed in Dhoraji Society in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. In Guru Mandir area, a muezzin of a local mosque was gunned down.
A suspected gangster, Javed Hussain Baloch, was killed in Baldia Town.
In another incident, unidentified armed men opened fire at a car near Ziauddin Hospital, Clifton, killing the driver, Abdul Hameed.
A man belonging to the Kutchi community was killed and another man injured when four men sprayed them with bullets in Macchar Colony.
Three other men were gunned down in separate incidents in Pak Colony, SITE and Garden areas.
