Position Holders: Malir DC gives away award

The event was attended by the honorary consul-general for the Republic of Tunisia and others.

KARACHI: Malir deputy commissioner Qazi Jan Muhammed attended a recognition ceremony at Nasra School’s Malir Campus to give awards to three students, who secured top positions across Pakistan in the Aga Khan University Examination Board 2013. The first position was secured by Rutaba Nadeem from the SSC Science Group, the third position by Sameer Kiyani from the HSSC Science Group and the fifth position by Syeda Jaisha from the HSSC Science Group. The DC handed out cash prizes of Rs10,000 and Rs5,000 to the position holders and distributed certificates and shields to the students, their teachers and Nasra School’s heads. “I congratulate the students on their achievement and wish them success in future endeavours.” The event was also attended by Iftikhar Soomro, the chairperson of Education Trust and the honorary consul-general for the Republic of Tunisia and others.
