Pol prices : ICCI urges govt to review hike

ICCI President says instead of increasing POL prices, govt should work for facilitating business activities.

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has urged the government to take business community on board on important national policy matters as this could assist in making key economic decisions with consensus to save the economy from harmful consequences.

ICCI President, Zafar Bakhtawari, while addressing a meeting urged the government to review its decision and avoid creating problems for the business community.

He stressed that instead of increasing POL prices, the government should work for facilitating the growth of business activities and serving the cause of common man.

He said that the business community has pinned high hopes on the newly elected government hoping that it would work for the betterment of the country.
