The terms of the package state that if the prisoners who fled from the DI Khan jail, return within 15 days and willingly surrender themselves into police custody, they won't face a court case.
"If they return within 15 days, no action will be taken against them," said Yasir Ali, Express News correspondent.
"If prisoners return after the stipulated 15 days, they will have terrorism clauses added to their case," said Yasir.
As many as 248 prisoners had escaped as militants carrying heavy weapons stormed Dera Ismail Khan’s Central Jail on July29. At least nine people were killed including policemen. Six attackers were also reportedly killed.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had claimed responsibility for carrying out the major attack and said that they had spent over a month planning the assault and spent Rs10 million.

@Chacha: BTW 150 or so TTP were involved in the jail-break episode alone.
@Chacha: Somebody should passthis intelligence over to the Gov.tHERE are only 30-40 TTP,and Chacha ji has a list of them.
Great effort by KPK government. Hope that normal criminals might surrender instead of terrorist clause being added to their files. Lot of improvements being done. Keep it up PTI. Time will tell about KPK success and shut the mouths of all critics.

Pti haters it will give you no harm if you u use us pea brain. All of the released prisoners did not belonged to ttp. There were some ordinary prisoners as well which were released to disguise the whole episode. This offer is for them. For persons having few month punishment / imprisonment left this offer will work. @ safaraz hanfi, u better come out of the racism pti is not only representing pathan but punjabis , saraki and hazara belt as well. If they are not going to be prosecuted why are they being asked to come back? Aren't they free and not being prosecuted already?
