Condemnation: MQM flays fuel price hike

Press statement states that the new government has disappointed people by increasing the prices of petroleum products.

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has condemned the government’s decision to increase the prices of petrol, kerosene oil and diesel in a statement issued on Sunday by Rabita Committee members of the party. The press statement stated that the new government has disappointed the people by increasing the prices of petroleum products. It  said that people were already suffering from inflation and terrorism because of an ongoing crisis and the recent hike in the petroleum prices would further increase their woes.
