Promote culture: PAC gets new executive director

LAHORE:

Chaudhry Asif Pervaiz has been appointed executive director of the Punjab Arts Council. He assumed charge on Friday.

“The PAC has been working for the promotion of cultural activities in the Punjab since 1975,” Pervaiz said, “Some people have tried to tarnish the council’s image in the past. I will try to rectify that.” He said that he would try to obtain a service structure for the PAC workers.
