No talks with Tehreek-e-Taliban at the moment: Nisar
Says premature dissemination of information on the subject can be detrimental.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Sunday that Pakistan is not holding talks with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) at the moment, Express News reported.
Addressing a press conference, Nisar said the decision to talk with the TTP would be taken during the All Parties' Conference (APC) after taking political parties into confidence.
Nisar said that talks with the Taliban is a sensitive matter and spreading information prematurely can be detrimental to the effort.
The interior minister said that political parties are united against terrorism. He added that the government's security policy has been finalised.
Jamiat-e-Ulema Islami Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman had earlier offered to assist the government with Taliban talks and had said that he wanted to help since no developments had been made on this front.
He had said that the previous government did not take the offer of talks from the Taliban seriously, but the current government should consider making it an important component of the country's anti-terrorism strategy.
The TTP in their offer for talks with the government had recommended Rehman and Jamaat-Islami chief Munawar Hasan as intermediaries.
