Attorney-General Munir A Malik used the term 'Muhajir Republican Army' for a shadowy group he believed to be involved in spreading violence in Karachi, in a report submitted for the Karachi law and order case, heard earlier today.
The MQM chief called upon the Chief Justice to launch an impartial investigation regarding the mischief-makers behind this 'army'.
Altaf said the forces responsible should be brought to justice and if all the hype boils down to nothing real, then the perpetrators of these rumours should be tried by the Interior Ministry for badmouthing well-meaning patriots.
The MQM chief said that false insinuations will not deface or destroy his party.
He instructed MQM representatives to openly condemn the 'Muhajir Republican Army' in the senate and provincial assembly.
Nisar withdraws report
The government on Friday withdrew its written reply from the Supreme Court on Friday when Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan claimed that the report was not ‘perfect’.
Nisar told the floor of the House that concerned officials did not take him in loop while submitting the report to the apex court, which carried ‘very sensitive information’.

It seems like an outcome of internal politics within the party. Otherwise those who have been watching MQM moves before the birth of Ayesha M, very well know that now MQM donot have any sort of capacity to develop this type of group that may be able of carrying out militant operations. The left over stuff is loosely bound, mostly government servants and have families. And above all they are of advance age groups while a republican army sort of group needs mostly young man of not more than thirty years of age that is a rarity in MQM now a days. God Bless Mohajirs, a community known for its Religiosity, culture and civilization.
I believe this is a free advertisment of MRA (Muhajir Republican Army), which would be introduced officially within a couple of months. A new issue to avoid others neglegencies.

I belive that there is single salution of karachi it should be a seprate province of pakistan law and order and other issue must run through the representative from karachi weither they belong from mqm, ji ,pti ,ppp or any other party.autherised persons don't belong from the city there for they are not intressted even a police sho. or change the name of city from karchi to maaqbooza karachi. then citizen of this city and businessmen will make there mind acording to that situation
instead involving in non issue...every body should accept the mandate of karachi..give due right to urban population of sindh..concentrate on improving the economy,law and order..if we fail the Rupees will reach 150 to one dollar by 2014

The Attorney General Mr. Munir A. Malik by using the word "Muhajir Republican Army" has opened another caption for debate in the parliament.
The job of the parliamentarians is to make law for the benefit of the common man and the nation for the sake of Pakistan and not to debate on unproductive captions like "Muhajir Republican Army", when it does not exist at all.
Did Mr. Muneer A. Malik took permission from his superiors to use such words?
In my opinion, the Attorney General should be removed forthwith and a sensible Attorney General should replace him to represent the government in the court of law.
