Bhara Kahu attempted bombing: Another suspect arrested

Six of the eight suspected militants are believed to be from Fata.

ISLAMABAD: The capital’s police on Wednesday arrested another suspect in the attempted suicide bombing case which was foiled on Eid day at an imambargah in Bhara Kahu. The CIA of the Islamabad Police picked up Anwar Hameed on suspicion of plotting the failed attack. A local court had given the suspect into police custody on a one-day physical remand, the police said. The police were looking for three more members who were allegedly part of the plot. Six of the eight suspected militants were believed to be from Fata. Islamabad Police had arrested five suspects in this case from a house located on Simly Dam Road where they believed the attacker Zakaullah had stayed.
