Skills and training: ILO to assist Tevta in national strategy

The ILO will help build the capacity of the authority’s senior management.

LAHORE: The International Labour Organisation will assist the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority in preparing a strategic national plan to provide the work force with skills and training, said a press release. Tevta Chairman Irfan Ali met with ILO consultant Paul Comyun and programme manager Rabia Razzaq on Thursday to discuss the plan. A committee of Tevta officials was set up to work with the ILO to develop and implement the plan. The ILO will help build the capacity of the authority’s senior management.
